Measurement of componants (independantly)
componants of ladder = 585 g
all kapton buses (from wafers to connexion board) = 40.18 g
Glue (estimation 1g per point) = 64*1 = 64 g (rough estimation)
grand total = 689.18 g
Measurement of a fully equipped ladder = 662,1 g
Ladder :
- Comparison of the weight of the differents parts constituing a ladder :
in GEANT, the sum of the weight of volumes describing a ladder is 605 g
In REAL life, the sum of a ladder, including all components, is 662 g (see details above)
The weight of the SSD in GEANT does not take into account screws, glue, air hoses and cables.
So the difference may be higher than 60 g.
