I've finished a quick comparison of the prompt photons from the new and old photon pythia samples, and the jets from their respective samples.  These are attached below.

I ran into some technical problems getting the trigger simulator working for the older samples, so trigger turn-on can be seen in the first several bins of the towerE and towerE_T plots.  In all other plots, I specifically require E_T>10 to make sure I'm above the trigger threshold.  The agreement looks pretty good.

A second version with trigger simulator running is (hopefully) coming in the next day or two.
