As the PIXEL and IST are 2 different detectors, some changes are needed in the STAR code to reflect this : 

• StiRnD is splitted in StiIst and StiPixel 
• StPixelFastSimMaker (which did the fast reconstruction in the PIXEL and IST) is doing now the fast reconstruction in the PIXEL only
• the fast reconstruction in the IST has a dedicated makers
• StRnDHit (and StRnDHitCollection) is not used anymore ; instead StPixelHit, StIstHit have been created ( for now they are only copies of StRnDHit)
• updates of some other STAR code ( StEvent, StMcEvent,Sti) for which there was a RnDHit dependency
• creation of BFC chain option
• code in DEV
