Run-12 Transverse Jets: Trigger QA (extended run list)
In previous blogs I posted QA plots for a portion of the Run-12 data. Renee asked me to add plots of the number of tracks with pT > 200 MeV/c. I added the histograms and reran over 23 available runs. There were several errors with accessing the database and a few files not being found. However, here I post the results of the study, such as it is.
I have selected JP, BHT, EHT, and VPDMB triggers. I examine the trigger rates, the number of towers above the various BHT threshold (for BHT triggers, only), and the number of TPC tracks with pT > 200 MeV. I will remind readers that I am not sure I correctly accessed the pedestal-corrected EEMC tower ADC's, so I appreciate feedback from EEMC experts if things look fishy to their eyes.

The story seems qualitatively similar to the previous blog.

Again, the story seems similar to before. There are a few extra runs with what appear to be hot towers. It is probably worth checking the shift log to see if notes were included on these runs. For the most part, things seem fairly sensibl

The track plots look fairly sensible to my eyes. The multiplicity seems to increase slightly as one goes from BHT0*VPDMB to BHT2 and then again from JP0 to JP2. The multiplicity is decreased in VPDMB which also seems reasonable, as there should be much lower trigger bias in these data. There are perhaps a few outlier runs, but all-in-all things look fine to me.
