Run-11 Transverse Jets: Preliminary Results (PANIC 2014)
Here, I post proposed data for release at PANIC 2014. The current figures are not approved and may not reflect the final presentation. This page will be updated, frequently.
Jet AN (Sivers/ETQS)
I propose to show the sin(φS) moment (jet AN) in four bins of pseudorapidity. Last year, we were given twist-3 theory curves by Koichi Kanazawa. These curves were shown at DNP and elsewhere but were far too small to distinguish on the previous axis scale. With the added precision, we are able to see some daylight between the curves and the zero line (sometimes!), and the results are plotted above.
Collins Asymmetry
I propose to show the sin(φS-φH) moment (Collins asymmetry) in three bins of pT.
Collins-like Asymmetry
I propose to show the sin(φS-2φH) moment (Collins-like asymmetry) in three bins of pT. Elke suggested perhaps a focus on the low-pT region where we have very high statistics. I show this, above, as well.
