Run 11 AuAu27 calib status
Rough summary: AuAu27 calibration quality is near that of AuAu19.6 when it was produced last month. IMPORTANT: This is "first look" quality, and should not be construed as presentation/publication quality!
Slightly more detail of differences between current AuAu27 calib and AuAu19.6 calib:
- TPC (more details available from Maxim)
- Anode voltages: list of good/questionable runs known; DB tables not yet updated for questionable runs which can be repaired
- T0/Twist: not yet examined for FF (RFF values in place)
- SpaceCharge+GridLeak: preliminary values can be ready by end-of-the-week (no significant effect seen in AuAu19.6, while it was seen in AuAu27), would provide a very small (~1mm spatially) improvement in track pointing and pT resolution over FastOffline results
- FTPC
- Rotation alignment: not yet examined
- TOF
- AuAu19.6 calibs about as good for AuAu27 in "start-less" mode (i.e. not using VPD)
- BEMC & EEMC
- Status & pedestal tables not in place for either AuAu19.6 nor AuAu27
- Gain: not needed for production, otherwise old calibs suffice
- PMD
- Not yet examined for AuAu27 (was done for AuAu19.6)
Other than TPC SpaceCharge+GridLeak (and establishing a list of good/questionable runs), essentially the same as FastOffline.
Development of a calibration deliverables schedule is called for, to be matched with PWG priorities and needs for calibration quality.
