We did a quick Mock Data Sync Challenge for the 2018 run (no changes in HPSS hardware, only a version upgrade). Plot added below. Data injection stayed sustain at 1.6 GB/s for ~1.5 hours. Received ~7 TB in total, 1895 files, average file size 3.7 GB.
The only adjustment was to change the drive allocation as the data flush to tape was trailing ... Adjusted now to do 1.7 GB/s, or 214 MB/s/drive; also took ~1.5 hours to complete.
Migration to tape
