Run 9 200GeV Dijet Cross Section Time Variation Investigation V
Updated on Tue, 2014-10-28 15:40. Originally created by pagebs on 2014-10-20 01:43.
A closer look at some dijet, trigger, and scalar quantities ...
Figure 1: Ratio of the number of L2JetHigh dijets in each run to the number of BBCMB-Cat2 (top), VPDMB (middle), and ZDCMB (bottom) triggers.
Figure 3: Ratio of the number of L2JetHigh triggers in each run to the number of BBCMB-Cat2 (top), VPDMB (middle), and ZDCMB (bottom) triggers.
Figure 4: BBCMB-Cat2 Counts in a run / length of the run Vs Run (top panel) and the reconstructed L2JetHigh counts in a run / length of the run Vs run (bottom panel).
Figure 5: Ratio of the WCM 'Luminosity' to the ZDCMB counts vs run (top panel) and the WCM 'Luminosity' / length of the run vs run (bottom panel)
Figure 6: Number of reconstructed L2JetHigh dijets / run length vs the BBCMB-Cat2 counts / run length for all days (top panel) and for days 120-129 and 170-179 (bottom panel).
Figure 7: Ratio of the number of dijets reconstructed in simulation to the number of simulated events for the 9-11 partonic pt bin (top panel) and the 15-25 and 35-inf partonic pt bins for days 120-129 and 170-179 only (bottom panel).
Figure 8: Same information as figure 7, but I have added errors (error is just standard error propagation for ratio of two numbers where the uncertainties on the two numbers is root N, I have not taken into account the fact that the numbers are fully correlated) and fit each period with a p0.
Pt 15-25, Day 120-129: Chi2/ndf = 115.5/128, p0 = 0.1393 +/- 0.0021
Pt 15-25, Day 170-179: Chi2/ndf = 107.9/135, p0 = 0.1409 +/- 0.0018
pt 35-inf, Day 120-129: Chi2/ndf = 40.1/127, p0 = 0.4823 +/- 0.0101
pt 35-inf, Day 170-179: Chi2/ndf = 81.3/135, p0 = 0.4928 +/- 0.0088
