Pointing Resolution plots

These plots were made from 100 hijing events using perfect hits in the old three-layer IST and the HFT, but no SSD. Currently, it is not possible to make plots containing both the IST and the HFT as the bfc upgrade tags for the upgrade are upgr01, which contains the HFT and SSD but not the IST, and upgr02, which contains the HFT and IST but not the SSD.
This plot shows the IST and HFT in local coordinates, local y vs. local x (local x is radial, local y is in the bend plane, and local z is along the beamline).
For all plots, the top two plots are for pt<.5 GeV, the bottom for pt>.5 GeV, with y on the left and z on the right. All units are cm.
The pointing resolution for the outer HFT layer:
The width of each fit is about 25 microns.
The pointing resolution for the 7 cm IST layer:
The widths are 68, 81, 44, and 48 microns.
The pointing resolution for the 12 cm IST layer:
The widths are 250, 260, 145, and 170 microns.
The pointing resolution for the 17 cm IST layer:
The widths are 370, 370, 245, and 260 microns.
