1. PWGC preview
Title: Longitudinal double spin asymmetry for inclusive jet and dijet production in proton-proton collisions at \sqrt{s} = 510 GeV
PWG: Spin/ColdQCD
PAs: Zilong Chang, Renee Fatemi, Carl Gagliardi, Suvarna Ramachandran
Proposed target journal: PRD
Proposal Webpage: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/zchang/run12-inclusive-and-dijet-jet-all-paper-proposal
Presentation: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/PaperPreview_2012JetsDijets.pptx
Analysis note: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/AnalysisNote_3.pdf
- Brief introduction from the PWG conveners (5’) [Oleg]
- Paper proposal (15') [Zilong]
- Paper proposal (15') [Suvarna]
- Open discussions (35')
- Summary from the conveners' panel (5’)
2. PWG feedbacks on Run14 AuAu200 noHFT picoDst
JetCorr: raw ADC for all towers,
HF:
S&C keeps time line
3. Embedding - Xianglei
1) Run16AuAu200 pi/K/p by HF - 1 week.
2) Run16AuAu200 Upsilon->dimuon by HF, 1.5M, - 2 weeks.
3) Run14AuAu200 pi noHFT by JetCorr, 2M - 2 weeks.
4) BulkCorr
Roli's requests, in total 1M 0-20% central AuAu 200 GeV events, 2 weeks.
Toshihiro's request,
20180506, 2.5M with 1.2M central, complicated setups, 3-4 weeks
20180507, 3M central, 4-5 weeks
Nalinda's request, 2M min.bias AuAu200 GeV, 2 weeks
In considering the limitation of DB servers at PDSF/Cori that we can not run too many jobs in parallel (1000 jobs at most). We will try to update the embedding framework to overcome the DB limitations,
but this will also need time and the improvement is uncertain.
