Xi(1530) - Richard Witt

Request TypeStandard Embedding request (particle in real events)
DescriptionParticles:  Xi0(1530) and AntiXi0(1530) separately (1 particle per event)
Productions: P11idAuAu200 and P12idpp200
pt type: flat
pt range: 0.0 to 6.0 (to allow for pt skewing)
eta range -1.5 to 1.5 (though 1.2 to 1.2 is probably sufficient)
primary vertex Z: -50 to +50

I need at least 100k in each multiplicity bin (and for the p+p by
itself).  With a reasonable estimate of 2% efficiency that should give
me ~200  reconstructed Xi0(1530)'s in the lowest pt bins for each
multiplicity.

Tracking performance check on Yuri's VMC production

In effort of pursuing to set up the HFT embedding infrastructure, Yuri did some development using VMC geometry. These are some first cosmic ray samples produced:

The Lambda filter used in the MC sample production

The Lambda filter is used in the new generation of MC sample in order to improve the efficiency and save the space of disk.
The filter is based on the StMCFIlter.
