Abstract | : | The isotope Kr-83 may be used to investigate variations in gas gain throughout the STAR TPC and/or deduce single channel gain constants. This provides a valuable cross-check for the pulser calibration. This note describes the specrum that results from the decay of Rb-83 -> Kr-83 and how it may help in the calibration of the TPC. |
