- Always start asking your council representative for adding you in the list of STAR collaborators (Liz Mogavero) !!
- This is important to avoid delay (user office and RCF DO contact Liz and I when a new account or access is requested)
Step 1
- For the RCF, steps are:
  - Request a BNL User ID or Guest ID http://www.rhic.bnl.gov/RCF/UserInfo/GettingStarted/NewUser/rcf_account_instructions.html
  - A few fields to watch for, used dropped down menu Department to be visited: Physics Dept (RHIC/AGS) Experiment facility: RHIC Experiment: STAR Type of Access Requested: - Remote Computer Access Only or - Physical on-site visit to BNL
