Present: Prashanth, Yuri, Flemming, Gene, Alexei, Irakli

 

Alexei: Two RDOs that got problems last week were restored by Tonko. The blower for the TPC was replaced. There were spikes in humidity due to the faulty blower system.

Flemming: there are some firmware upgrades to be done for the electronics so they are more robust against radiation damage to the booting procedure. Tonko has it on his todo list for after the Run-19.

Prashanth: TPC has a lot of information on AFS based web area which needs to be moved somewhere not to disappear along with the aFS.

Yuri: Artemiy Belousov is looking into the dE/dx QA issue of the reconstructed data. This is the issue reported at the QA meeting and observes by a few people. The HLT reconstruction of the data does not seem to be seeing the issue that is present in the FastOffline reconstruction.

Irakli: I will try to run reconstruction with two packages and see if the difference is apparent from what I get.

 

Gene:  Finished working with the “strange gap cleaning events” and these events will be removed from analysis. He identified the existing tpc table that is not in use and could be accommodated for this purpose, the evens called by the hitloader will be skipped according to the entries in this table.
