A reminder that this is the anomaly seen in run 19132076 that Ben found during his calibration work of sDCA vs time [sec]:

Preliminary plots: Differential jet shape (incl. relative to the event plane) \sqrt(snn) = 200 GeV AuAu

Minutes of the meeting

Present: Prashanth, Yuri, Flemming, Gene, Alexei, Irakli

 

Prashanth: shift crew had issues bringing back the tripped anodes. Procedures will be updated to make it easier for the shift crew to bring back cathodes and anodes.

Alexei checked that eTOF gas mixture change is in compliance with TPC and could be done whenever eTOF decides so.

 

Gene:  looked into the AuAu27GeV reconstruction that show some strange anomalies in the behavior of DCA during gap cleaning. They look different from regular gap cleaning distortions.

This study is in progress. Gene has all the data to continue this study and once done everything will be ready for calibration processing.

 

Yuri: there is need to revisit ADC calibration for the TpcRS. The plan is also to revisit dN/dx for the iTPC. The dE/dx results are final for the current alignment as it is.

               There are some changes to the ADC for the first padrow for the iTPC – work is ongoing to make sure this is accounted properly for in the TpcRS.
