Conclusions

• STAR S&C is an activity diverse group

  • We do not only cover for help-desk ;-)
  • We try to architect, develop, and enhance tools for increasing user analysis capabilities and making us “jump” to the next generation of computing

• STAR has resource constraints

  • Infrastructure (hardware) is under necessary limit
  • Current (local) resources needs to be best used
  • Will need to find extraneous resource

• STAR computing has more tasks it can take

  • You can help by
    • Assisting “a” software coordinator in his task (calibration, software development, ...)
